Why Choose a Pontoon

The Best Way to Explore Estero Bay

From the Imperial River Ramp in Bonita Springs, you're minutes from the sandbars of Estero Bay, the open Gulf of Mexico, and the beaches of Fort Myers. From Lovers Key, you're right at the entrance to Big Carlos Pass and Mound Key Archeological State Park.

Pontoon FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need a boating license to rent a pontoon?
A boating license is required if you were born after January 1, 1988. A valid driver's license is required for all operators. If you need a temporary boating certificate, visit our licensing section or the FWC website.
How many people can fit on the pontoon?
Both pontoons hold up to 12 passengers. The Sandbar Social is 22 feet and the Gulf Cruiser is 24 feet — both are well-suited for large groups, families, and celebrations.
Where do pontoons launch from?
We launch from two locations: the Imperial River Ramp at 27551 S Tamiami Trl, Bonita Springs, FL 34134, and Lovers Key Boat Ramp at 8700 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 (entrance on the east side of the road).
Is experience required?
Yes. All operators must have a minimum of 3–5 years of boating experience. You'll also receive a full dock orientation before departure covering local waterways, safety procedures, and how to operate the boat.
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions are unsafe to boat — such as lightning, high winds, or an active small craft advisory — a full refund will be issued. We'll notify you as early as possible if your rental day is impacted by weather.
