Fort Myers Beach & Bonita Springs

Bowrider Boat Rentals
Fort Myers Beach & Bonita Springs

Two 21 ft Mercury 150 HP bowriders built for speed, adventure, and the open Gulf. Up to 10 guests. Self-drive — your crew, your route.

Bowriders vs. Pontoons

Fast, Sporty & Built for Adventure

If pontoons are built for relaxation, bowriders are built for adventure. Our two Mercury 150 HP bowriders reach open Gulf waters faster, carve through waves with confidence, and give your crew the thrill of an open-bow ride across the Florida coastline.

Bowriders are ideal for groups of up to 10 who want to explore more coastline in a day — from Bonita Springs through Wiggins Pass, around Lovers Key, all the way to Fort Myers Beach. Both boats come with GPS and Bluetooth audio.

Bowrider FAQ

Common Questions

How fast do the bowriders go?
Both bowriders are powered by Mercury 150 HP engines capable of reaching speeds well suited for open Gulf cruising. They're noticeably faster and more agile than our pontoon boats.
Is a bowrider or pontoon better for my group?
If you have a smaller group (up to 10) and want speed, open Gulf access, or a more sporty experience, a bowrider is the better choice. For larger groups (up to 12) or those wanting a more relaxed, stable ride with shade, a pontoon is ideal.
Do I need a boating license to rent a bowrider?
Yes — a boating license is required if you were born after January 1, 1988, and a valid driver's license is required. Minimum operator age is 21. Visit our licensing section for details on getting a temporary certificate.
Where do the bowriders launch from?
We launch from the Imperial River Ramp (27551 S Tamiami Trl, Bonita Springs, FL 34134) and Lovers Key Boat Ramp (8700 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 — entrance on the east side of the road).
